Mooncat Mandala

A mandala I did for my art class back in September of 2005. I loved this, and we hung it up in the classroom for the year. I just got to bring it home yesterday, but it was too big to fit in my scanner. Once I can get a good picture with my camera, I'll replace it.

This was really fun to do. It's a tie-in with my screen name, which is usually Lunarkitten or a variant of it. It came from a picture I did four years ago of a cat on the moon, and I can't find it now, otherwise I would've submitted it long ago. This was a mandala I did representing that picture: on one side, a cat on the night sky; the other side, the moon.
